“You’re never going to survive”.  Those were the words of encouragement I received at the young age of 20 years old.   I was broke. Like broke, broke. I had just recently left my Dad’s company to strike out on my own.  And things weren’t going well. I was on a job site early in the morning when a colleague of my Dad sidled up beside me.

“Tim,” he said.  “You’re an idiot and you’re never going to survive.”
